Russian police are investigating a driver who was caught on camera deliberately driving his car into a group of two children.

The two boys had been firing rubber pellets at passing motorists in the northern Russian city of Priozersk on March 9, the Leningrad region Investigative Committee said in a statement.

In shocking scenes caught on CCTV, one driver reacted to the children’s prank by turning his car around and driving it at the youngsters. After hitting one of the children with the vehicle, the driver then left his car and dumped the boy into a pile of snow, investigators said. The child suffered a concussion but otherwise escaped unharmed.

Police reported that the rubber pellets had not caused any damage to the car.
