Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned Ukraine for "choosing terrorism" in a speech on Wednesday night.
The president made the comments in relation to claims by Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) that a Ukrainian "terrorist operation" had been foiled in Crimea.
Two Russian service men have reportedly died in Crimea following clashes with the Ukrainian military and a Ukranian-backed "spy ring," the FSB claimed.
Ukraine is provoking a conflict as it tries to divert attention from "the topic of robbery of its own people," Putin said.
