Prominent Russian Journalist Found Murdered in St. Petersburg

Journalist Dmitry Tsilikin, a regular contributor to the Russian newspapers Vedomosti and Kommersant, was found murdered in his St. Petersburg apartment, local news website Fontanka reported Thursday.

According to preliminary information, the 54-year-old music and art critic and journalist had died from multiple stab wounds received more than two days ago, Fontanka reported.

The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case into the murder.
