Memes Abound After Emu Escapes Russian Christmas Special

Deck the halls with ... signs of emu? 

Christmas cheer was all around this weekend as students noticed a stray emu roaming the abandoned halls of their university in St. Petersburg. The bipedal feathered creature from Australia was reportedly brought in to star in a Christmas special for kids. And this being the age of social media, the emu soon found itself a star of student-made memes.
