Lukashenko Earns $31,242

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko earned 94.5 million Belarussian rubles ($31,242) in 2009 and owns no property or securities, according to the country’s election commission.

Lukashenko’s wife, Galina, earned 16 million rubles last year and owns a 174-square-meter house, a half-share in a 53.8-square-meter house and 56 shares in dairy producer Maslodelny Zavod, the commission said on its web site.

All 10 candidates in Belarus’ Dec. 19 presidential election filed income statements that were published by the commission.
