Three people died in a fire at Russia’s Foreign Intelligence (SVR) building in Moscow on Wednesday.

Reports at the time indicated that three people were trapped in the SVR basement after the fire broke out.

A source in the rescue services told state-run news agency RIA Novosti on Thursday that three people died in the flames and seven people were rescued.
