The municipal administration in Crimea's capital Simferopol has banned all mass gatherings in the city “until further notice,” according to an announcement on the administration website.
The decree was signed on March 7, the same day a protest rally was held in Simferopol against an emergency situation regime imposed in connection with an African swine fever outbreak, the region's Flash Crimea news portal reported Wednesday.
The announcement on the Simferopol administration website said the city government had ruled to “ban mass public, cultural, entertainment and other events” in the Crimean capital “until further notice.”
