As a tourist, you will not be entitled to free medical treatment in Russia unless it is an emergency or first aid. If your medical issue is not an emergency, we checked to confirm that every host city of the 2018 World Cup has private, paid clinics. The bigger cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, even have clinics with English-speaking personnel. Simply type the name of the city where you are plus “частная клиника” or “платная клиника” into a search engine to get a list of the clinics where you can get treatment during your World Cup trip. Pharmacies are also available on (almost literally) every street corner, and many of them operate 24-hours. A large range of over-the-counter medication is available, though it will be useful to have a photograph or translation of what you need ready before you visit.
