Anti-Western TV Host Plans to Produce 'Cock T'est Belle' Wine

Dmitry Kiselyov

Dmitry Kiselyov, Russia's infamous anti-Western television presenter and director of the Rossiya Segodnya international news agency, is the co-owner of a winery in Crimea that plans to start mass production of a sparkling wine called Cock T'est Belle — a wordplay on Koktebel, a Crimean town, the RBC news agency reported Monday.

“It's not a business yet. We haven't sold a single bottle — we were drinking everything ourselves, or giving them to friends, or sending them to exhibitions and wine tastings,” Kiselyov told RBC.

The winery's production capacity is 4,000 bottles a year, but it must obtain a license in order to start mass production, the report said. Once the license is obtained the winery plans to expand its capacity to 10,000 bottles a year, Maria Kiselyova, the television host's wife and business partner, told the news agency.

One bottle of the Cock T'est Belle sparkling wine will cost 1,000 rubles ($15), according to her.
