Moscow-based painter Alexei Sobolevsky's project "Moscow's Metro Lines Come to Life," combines the artist's love for the Russian capital and its people.



In the series of colorful images, Moscow's most popular metro lines come to life as women, striking poses to match the twists and turns of the lines they represent.

The Yellow Line, also known as the Kalininskaya Line.

The Orange Line, also known as the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line.

The Light Green Line, also known as the Lyublinskaya Line.

The Gray Line, also know as Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line, and the Dark Green Line, also know as the Zamoskvoretskaya Line.

The Red Line, also known as the Sokolnicheskaya Line.

The Purple Line, known as the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line.
