Police were searching for an unidentified man who opened fire with an airgun on a public bus on Monday, injuring two passengers.
The shooting occurred as bus No. 65 was passing 13 Zelenogradskaya Ulitsa near the Rechnoi Voksal metro station in northern Moscow.
"He fired three times and fled," police said in a statement carried by Interfax.
Two young men were injured, one in the chest and the other in the left shoulder, and both were rushed to the hospital by ambulance, Interfax said.
