A Bus Stop Tour of the Former Soviet Union

Photographer Christopher Herwig's traveled across 30,000km of roads through 14 former Soviet republics to document and photograph bus stops — unlikely treasures of Soviet public art.



Herwig's work took him from the shores of the Black Sea and across the Kazakh steppe.
