Rush hour in Moscow's metro.



Ahead of City Day celebrated on the first weekend of September, Moscow Times photojournalist Pascal Dumont took a 24-hour journey around town with one goal: capture the metropolis's dynamic character throughout its daily cycle.



Dumont set out on his winding ramble from the city's northern outskirts at Rechnoi Vokzal (River Station) on Friday evening, Aug. 29, and finished in the south, in Butovo, at sunset the following day.
