In Photos: Reindeer Herders in Russia's Far North Vote Early in Regional Elections
Though much of Russia will vote in the country's regional elections on Sept. 10, early voting is already underway in the country's most hard-to-reach areas to allow residents who cannot make it to a polling station to cast their ballots.
On the Taimyr Peninsula of Russia's Far North, election workers brought ballot boxes to the region's indigenous reindeer-herding communities.
They will cast their votes for the Krasnoyarsk regional governor's race.
