Russian 'Eco-Drawing' Competition Highlights Children’s Environmental Concerns

Russia’s state environmental watchdog Rosprirodnadzor opened an exhibition of children's drawings on nature protection in Moscow this week, a part of its larger international youth environmental award "Ecology is Everyone's Business."

The governmental body received over 13,000 submissions from every region of Russia as well as several foreign countries to its “Eco-Drawing” contest, which has become an annual event.
