Russia is currently in the midst of its fall military draft, which will see approximately 130,000 young men called up for their mandatory military service from Oct. 1-Dec. 31.
The country's military draft, which is held biannually during both peacetime and wartime, takes place nearly 20 months into what the Kremlin calls its "special military operation" in Ukraine.
