Urals Mining and Metals Company plans to invest 25 billion rubles ($780 million) this year in the development of production at Kuzbassrazrezugol coal company, a 50 percent increase from 2011, Interfax reported Tuesday.
The enterprise plans to start construction of four enrichment plants with a total combined processing capacity of 14 million tons of energy coal a year, and 17 billion rubles will go to acquiring mining equipment.
The mining company's long-term development includes the creation of a full technical cycle, from coal production to coal-based generation.
