Bomb Threat Leads to Increased Security at Moscow City Business Center

Moscow International Business Center. Maxim Stulov / Vedomosti

Enhanced security measures are being enforced at the international business center in Moscow City, after warnings of a bomb-threat, a news report said.

"Yesterday, we received an anonymous call warning of a possible terrorist attack at the Moscow International Business Center on May 5-6," a representative of the City management company said, Interfax reported Tuesday.

"We have therefore introduced increased security measures, which are still in effect," the representative added.

Specialists and dog handlers are inspecting the premises at Moscow City, while checks are being carried out on all vehicles entering the territory, the representative said.

A planned fire drill was also carried out yesterday to test evacuation procedures, the representative added.
