This is a great time to be hungry in Moscow.
Fifty five of Moscow's top restaurants are offering a special 1,200 ruble ($18) meal invented, compiled, and/or designed especially for Restaurant Week. The restaurants represent a range of cuisines, from Aist to Zotman Pizza Pie, and include some of the city's finest chefs, such as Uilliam Lamberti of Severyane and Uilliam's and Vladimir Mukhin, chef at The White Rabbit — this year named one of the top 20 restaurants in the world on the Forbes list.
The theme of the festival is "pairing," specifically dishes that pair up nicely up with Singleton single malt whisky, one of this year's Restaurant Week partners. Shots of the single malt will be available at 300 rubles ($4.50) at all the restaurants taking part in the event.
