The Moscow Times is looking for a sub editor to work across its print and web editions at our headquarters in Moscow.
The role involves editing texts — from news briefs to reportage. You will work with writers and senior editors to ensure stories are crisp and compelling, free of factual and grammar mistakes, and consistent with Moscow Times style.
The role may also from time to time include some writing.
Requirements for the role:
?€” at least one year's experience in a journalism, writing or blogging.
?€” solid understanding of Russian politics and / or economy
?€” native-level English speaker with at least excellent command of Russian
?€” quick, methodical and organised with great attention to detail
?€” willingness to work flexible hours
Salary is dependent on experience.
